Hair Type (All you need to know about hair)

Do you know why some of the haircare products you use doesn't work for you??
It's because you don't know your hair type and porosity.
Not all products are good for all hair types unless it's specifically stated "FOR ALL HAIR TYPES AND POROSITY"

*HAIR TYPES*
Hair types are are divided into different categories based on their curls, waves, and coils.
Type 1 hair is a hair that lies flat or straight,it has no natural curl..the hair maybe fine or coarse, thick or thin.

Type 1 hair:
Type 1 hair is an oily hair and does not need additional hair oil from haircare products, that is why it's necessary for you to check the label of the product you are buying to be sure that it's not going to add extra oil to your hair.

Dry shampoo is the best for a type 1 hair
This hair category includes divisions 1A,1B,1C.

Type 2 hair:
Type 2 hair is known as wavy hair... it's naturally wavy and forms an "s" shape.
Type 2 hair is not as oily as "type 1" because of the slight texture it has,and it tends to be thicker than type 1 hair.
Type 2 hair is often frizzy, but it's typically not overly oily or too dry.

TYPE 3 HAIR:
Type 3 hair is known as curly hair...it has a combination of different textures.
They have more volume as well as height at the roots than TYPE 2 HAIR TYPE.
Type 3 hair tends to be more prone to dryness, frizz and breakage.
If you have type 3 hair, moisturising should be your number one factor and the LOC method and deep conditioning should be your best friends.

TYPE 4 hair:
Type 4 hair is commonly referred to as "AFRO TEXTURED OR KINKY HAIR".
It's naturally very dry and spongy in texture..they are prone to major shrinkage.
It's sub divided into; TYPE 4A, TYPE 4B, TYPE 4C

*TYPE 4A*
Type 4a is the most delicate type...deep conditioning, butters and creams are good options for caring for this hair type.

*TYPE 4B*
Type 4b::in caring for type 4b hair, you need to firstly detangle with your finger and use more of leave_in conditioner to moisturise and condition

*TYPE 4C*
Type 4c is the tightest and most fragile...it's really easy  to break if you comb it roughly or too often.
