You must learn to love and accept yourself for who you are before you can expect anyone else to really accept you. Almost everyone has some level of insecurity about themselves. Many people will try to be someone else just to fit in but that's the same thing as saying other people are better than you. You need to learn how to be on your own team. If someone were to put someone you love down, you'd probably defend them. Well, learn to defend yourself against yourself. If you won't root for your own team, why should anyone else? Hopefully, one day, you'll be able to experience a life where you don't care about the opinions that others have of you. When that day comes, you'll finally be able to truly live.The surest way to lose sight of who you are is to constantly compare yourself to others.You were born an original. Don't die a copy.Be what you are. This is the first step toward becoming better than you are.Most people are other people.
