How do you overcome emotional hurt?

The greatest pain usually comes from our relationships because our deepest emotions are involved with the people who are close to us. 

The relationship that once was the biggest source of joy can sometimes leave us heartbroken. Whether it is your unmet expectation, a misunderstanding or broken trust, a heartbreak can leave one with much pain. Whatever reason it may be, we can't keep touching the wound and live forever in pain. We need to find ways to heal and move on. 

Accept what has happened, give time to yourself, put your mind on things you like, think of how you can recollect yourself, and take support of family and friends but don't keep thinking about it. The scar doesn't always go away, but if you move on and do not touch it repeatedly, you can help it fade away.
