Why is it important that we learn to handle our emotions ourselves?
Our emotions greatly affect the way we feel about ourselves and our life. We cannot change our experience of life, but once we learn to comfort ourselves, we can maintain our well-being without getting stressed and depressed.
One of the reasons why people feel depressed is because they feel discomfort within themselves. This discomfort is mainly because they only see the difficulty, not the way to solve it. Everyone faces disappointments in life, and some may bring us to breaking point. When we accept it, trust our inner power, and deal with a calm mind, we feel strong enough to face it.
If you have supportive people in life, lean on their shoulders, but if you don't, find ways to comfort yourself. Involve in activities that bring ease, follow your hobby, pray, meditate and never lose trust. After all, if we were born with emotions, we must also have the capability to handle them.
