Beelink ME Mini Review: A Compact Powerhouse for Home NAS and Office Servers

Introduction & Unboxing

We’re revisiting Beelink’s impressive lineup of mini PCs with the Beelink ME Mini, and the brand sticks to its winning formula—stylish, portable, and powerful devices at affordable prices.

This time, Beelink collaborates with Crucial to deliver a device that’s perfect for both home NAS setups and light office server tasks. Powered by an Intel N150 processor, the ME Mini packs 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a base 64GB eMMC, and an optional 2TB Crucial P3 Plus SSD. With six M.2 SSD slots, this mini PC is ready to handle all your data storage needs.

Unboxing Experience:
In the box, you get the mini PC itself, a 100cm HDMI cable, and an AC power cable. The ME Mini is available in three colors: Midnight Gray, Peacock Blue, and Pearl White.

Starting at $209, the ME Mini offers excellent value, with the top-tier 2TB SSD model priced at $329 directly from Beelink (or $409 on Amazon US, often with an $80 coupon available).

Design & Connectivity

The Beelink ME Mini is a sleek, square-shaped device, 99mm on each side and weighing just 750g. It features a stylish top vent with the Beelink logo and the slogan "Archive your moments" etched in six languages.

Its thermal design includes:

A top-mounted fan that draws cool air from the top and bottom

Side exhausts for warm air

Noise levels as low as 33dB

Port Selection:

Front: 1x USB-C (10 Gbps), 1x USB-A 3.2 (10 Gbps)

Rear: AC power port, 1x USB-A 2.0 (Always-On), 2x 2.5G LAN ports (Intel i226-v), 1x HDMI-A (4K @ 60Hz)
Opening the chassis reveals:

A built-in 45W PSU

Six M.2 SSD slots (Slot 4 is PCIe 3.0 x2, others are x1)

Support for up to 4TB per SSD (up to 24TB total)

Compatibility with 2230/2242/2280 M.2 form factors
Performance Benchmarks

Powered by the Intel N150 (4-core, 4-thread, 3.6 GHz max turbo), the ME Mini handles most light to moderate workloads with ease. Compared to its sibling, the Beelink EQ14, it scored slightly lower in CPU and RAM tests, likely due to its 12GB vs 16GB RAM configuration.

Benchmark Results:

Test Result

Geekbench 6 (SC/MC) 1008 / 1836
Geekbench AI (Quantized) 1082
Passmark (CPU / Memory) 5188.6 / 1376.0
Disk Mark 13262.2
Cinebench R23 (SC/MC) 712 / 2554
Blender (Classroom) 5.05 mins

Thanks to the Crucial P3 Plus PCIe SSD, disk performance is 70% better than on SATA III models, with read speeds of 1,740 MB/s and write speeds of 1,687 MB/s.

Thermals & Acoustics:
Under a 3-hour stress test, the CPU throttled slightly but remained cool (~65°C), and the fan noise stayed under 30 dB—barely audible even up close.
Conclusion: Mini Server Marvel

For $329, the Beelink ME Mini (12GB RAM + 64GB eMMC + 2TB SSD) is a stellar deal—especially considering it ships with Windows 11 pre-installed.

With support for 24TB of storage, efficient cooling, and extremely low noise levels, the ME Mini is ideal for:

Home NAS solutions

Media streaming servers

Office server use (FTP, MySQL, Apache)

Light surveillance and camera monitoring

We're now using the ME Mini in our own office server setup—handling internal tools, data logs, and camera feeds without breaking a sweat. While the Intel N150 isn’t a powerhouse, it's more than capable for lightweight to moderate server tasks.

If you’re looking to start your home NAS journey or need a compact office workhorse, the Beelink ME Mini is a solid choice.
