Oppo A5 5G Tipped to Launch in India Soon with Dimensity 6300, 120Hz Display & 6,000mAh Battery

Oppo is gearing up to launch its A5 5G smartphone in India, following its recent debut in select global markets alongside the A5 4G and A5x 4G. A new leak shows the "About" screen of the Indian variant, suggesting an imminent launch.

The Oppo A5 5G is expected to be available in two configurations:

6GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at INR 15,499 (~$179)

8GB RAM + 256GB storage, with the price yet to be revealed.

Key specs include a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000-nit peak brightness, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The phone features a 50MP main rear camera paired with a 2MP decorative sensor, and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.

One of the standout features is its massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. The Oppo A5 5G also boasts IP65 certification and meets MIL-STD-810H standards for durability.
