Samsung Teases Galaxy Z Fold7 Camera Upgrades with AI-Powered Search Ahead of July Launch
Samsung reveals the first look at Galaxy Z Fold7’s new AI-powered camera features. The foldable is set to be the brand’s slimmest and lightest yet, launching in July alongside the Z Flip7 series.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold7 teaser campaign is gaining momentum, with the company now offering a first look at the AI camera enhancements coming to its next-gen foldable phone.
The highlight is a new multimodal Galaxy AI-powered search tool, built directly into the Camera app. According to Samsung, this feature will let the camera “understand what you’re seeing and react to it,” suggesting a more intuitive, context-aware photography experience.
The teaser also reiterates Samsung’s ongoing “Ultra experience” branding, which was previously teased for both hardware and software innovations in upcoming Galaxy devices.
In terms of hardware, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is shaping up to be Samsung’s thinnest and lightest horizontal foldable to date—making it a key evolution in the foldable lineup. It will officially debut in mid-July, launching alongside the Galaxy Z Flip7 and the more affordable Z Flip FE models.
With more AI-driven features and refined hardware, Samsung is clearly aiming to deliver a premium foldable experience that blurs the line between smartphones and smart tools.
