Trump Mobile Launches with $47 Plan, Gold T1 Smartphone Set to Arrive by Fall
The Trump Organization is entering the wireless game with a new venture called Trump Mobile, a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) that will piggyback on the networks of AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. The announcement was made by Donald Trump's sons, Donald Jr. and Eric Trump, who currently run the organization.
The base plan, dubbed “The 47 Plan”, costs $47.45/month, a nod to Trump being the 47th and 45th President of the United States. For that price, users get:
Unlimited talk, text, and data
Device protection (details unclear)
24/7 roadside assistance via Drive America
Telehealth services, including mental health support and prescription delivery
Free international calling to 100+ countries
No contracts and no credit check
The company is also preparing to launch a Trump-branded smartphone, the T1 Phone, sometime in August or September. The device will be gold-colored, carry a $499 price tag, and be “proudly designed and built in the United States,” according to the Trump Mobile website.
Trump T1 Phone specs include:
6.78-inch AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate
50 MP main camera, 2 MP depth + 2 MP macro
16 MP front camera
5,000 mAh battery, 20W USB-PD fast charging
3.5mm headphone jack, fingerprint sensor
12GB RAM, 256GB expandable storage
Android 15 pre-installed
Unknown chipset
While many details remain vague — particularly the “complete device protection” and processor specs — Trump Mobile is clearly aiming to appeal to supporters and value-seekers with affordable, all-inclusive service and a flashy, uniquely branded phone.
Time will tell whether the MVNO can disrupt an already saturated market, but with its heavy political branding and bold marketing, Trump Mobile is off to a high-profile start.
You can already pre-order the phone from the Trump Mobile website and switch to Trump Mobile by bringing your own phone too. The company promises 24/7 live US-based support too, should you need it.
