vivo X Fold5 Leak: Thinner, Lighter & More Powerful Foldable Coming July 10

The battle for the thinnest and lightest foldable phone continues, and vivo is gearing up to make a bold statement with its upcoming vivo X Fold5. In a teaser video shared by vivo executive Boxiao Han, the new foldable is seen weighed against the current vivo X Fold3, confirming that the X Fold5 will be even lighter than its 219g predecessor.

While vivo hasn’t officially disclosed the weight, it's clear that the X Fold5 is trimming both weight and thickness. According to leaked specs, the device will measure just 4.3mm when unfolded and 9.33mm when folded — a significant cut from the X Fold3’s 4.7mm/10.2mm profile. That said, it still falls slightly behind the Oppo Find N5 and rumored Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, which are thinner but heavier.
