Vivo Y400 Pro Leak Reveals Slim Design, Curved AMOLED Display, and Dimensity 7300 SoC
Vivo seems to be wasting no time following up the Y300 Pro, which launched just a few months ago in September. The brand is now working on its successor, the Vivo Y400 Pro, and a new leak has revealed nearly all the key specs along with a marketing image of the device.
According to the leak, the Vivo Y400 Pro will feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a stunning 4,500-nit peak brightness. This screen is not just bright but also curved, and Vivo is marketing it as the “slimmest 3D curved screen in its segment” — something rarely seen in mid-range phones these days.
Under the hood, the Y400 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, offering an upgrade from its predecessor in terms of processing power. Camera-wise, it sports a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main sensor alongside a 2 MP depth sensor (likely more decorative than functional). On the front, you get a 32 MP selfie camera.
One standout downgrade is the battery: it now houses a 5,500 mAh unit (smaller than the Y300 Pro’s), but it compensates with blazing-fast 90W wired charging. Despite this, the phone remains impressively thin at just 7.49mm.
Vivo is expected to launch the Y400 Pro in White, Gold, and Nebula Purple, appealing to users who want a slim, stylish smartphone with modern flair. The device will ship with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage, and — like most 2025 smartphones — will be packed with AI-powered features across the board.
If you're looking for a mid-range phone with a premium look and curved AMOLED display, the Vivo Y400 Pro might just be worth waiting for.
