Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Debuts with Bigger Battery, Wireless Charging & MagSafe-Compatible Accessories
Xiaomi officially launched the Mix Flip 2, its latest clamshell-style foldable, and it's already on sale in China. This second-gen flip phone builds on the original with notable upgrades, especially in battery life and accessory support.
The Mix Flip 2 now features a 5,165mAh battery (up from 4,780mAh) with support for 50W wireless charging. It's powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite Edition, offering a balance of peak performance and energy efficiency.
Display-wise, Xiaomi retains the familiar sizes:
4-inch cover screen (810 nits brightness for outdoor visibility)
6.86-inch main foldable display with a near-invisible crease – among the best in the market, per Digital Chat Station.
Accessory support gets a boost too. Xiaomi now offers MagSafe-compatible magnetic cases and stands. A standout add-on is the CNY 700 ($100) portable photo printer that connects magnetically and includes a physical shutter button, allowing users to print digital images instantly.
Separately, Xiaomi introduced a new photography kit for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which is lighter (42g) than its predecessor and still includes a two-stage shutter key and a dedicated video button – though it lacks the grip and printer found in previous versions.
