Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Track Edition Unveiled – 1,548 HP Beast with Nürburgring Pedigree & Carbon Fiber Galore
At the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show, Xiaomi made a bold statement with the reveal of the SU7 Ultra Track Edition – a race-prepped evolution of the already powerful SU7 Ultra. Designed with high-performance driving in mind, this new variant transforms Xiaomi’s flagship EV sedan into a track-dominating machine, setting lap times and stealing attention with aggressive hardware and design tweaks.
What Makes It the "Track Edition"?
For an additional RMB 100,000 (~€12,510), Xiaomi’s Track Professional Package equips the SU7 Ultra with:
Bilstein EVO R adjustable coilovers for track-tuned suspension
Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS semi-slick tires
Endless race-spec brake pads with ceramic discs
21-inch forged wheels for reduced unsprung mass
Carbon fiber hood with functional dual vents, shaving 1.3 kg
Carbon fiber roof, spoiler, diffuser, mirrors, and skirts
Fixed rear wing & aggressive aero kit
The visual upgrades include a unique 24K gold carbon fiber Xiaomi logo, “Ultra” silver decals, blacked-out badges, and a prominent LiDAR sensor, still present on this track-focused machine.
Race-Inspired Interior
Inside, it’s an Alcantara and carbon fiber paradise, with 21 interior carbon fiber parts, including:
Steering wheel
Seat backs
Center console
Door panels
Illuminated carbon fiber door sills
Despite the race car theme, the SU7 Ultra Track Edition retains comfort features like a 25-speaker sound system and dual 50W wireless chargers, reminding us this is still a Xiaomi luxury EV at heart.
Performance Specs: 0–100 km/h in 1.98s
Under the hood, the same triple-motor AWD setup powers this beast:
Rear: Dual “V8s” motors, 578 HP each
Front: One “V6s” motor, 392 HP
Combined Output: 1,548 HP
Top Speed: 350 km/h
0–100 km/h: 1.98 seconds
Battery: 93.7 kWh CATL, 897V architecture
Range: 630 km (CLTC cycle)
Unlike the standard version, full power is unlocked by default, and an upgraded cooling system ensures consistent performance lap after lap.
Nürburgring Tested, Porsche Beaten
The SU7 Ultra Track Edition lapped the Shanghai International Circuit in 2:09.944, quicker than a Porsche Taycan Turbo GT. To emphasize its commitment to motorsports, Xiaomi announced an official partnership with the Nürburgring, with Turn 12 now named the “Xiaomi Curve.”
What's Next?
While the Track Professional Package will soon be available to SU7 Ultra owners, Xiaomi is already teasing a limited-edition variant, promising even more exclusivity and performance.
This Track Edition is not just about power—it’s about precision. Unlike the plush, everyday-focused SU7 Ultra, this version is louder, stiffer, and sharper, built for enthusiasts who want an electric track weapon with luxury touches.
