Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm, OpenWear Pro Earbuds, and More to Launch Tomorrow

Xiaomi is expanding its smartwatch lineup once again with the introduction of the Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm, a more compact and stylish version of its flagship wearable. This follows last month’s refresh of the Watch S4 with Xiaomi’s in-house Xring T1 chipset.

The 41mm model is designed with fashion in mind. The teaser showcases the elegant “Quicksand Gold” version, paired with a matching gold Milanese strap. Adding to its luxury appeal is a six-point lab-grown diamond set into the polyhedron-cut crown. It’s not clear if the gold finish is plating or painted, but the watch is clearly aimed at users looking for a chic, compact wearable.
Xiaomi promises 8-day battery life for this smaller version—understandably shorter than the 15-day endurance of the larger 47mm variant. That’s where the Xring T1 chip comes into play again. This chip includes Xiaomi’s first-ever in-house 4G modem, which is 35% more power-efficient than the original, helping preserve battery life. It also supports new features like remote camera control with live preview.
Xiaomi also teased a new pair of earbuds: the Xiaomi OpenWear Pro. Co-developed with Harman, these buds are built around a unique “open-style five-unit system”, which supposedly delivers high-quality audio while keeping you aware of your surroundings. This open-ear design is perfect for office use or outdoor environments where ambient awareness matters. The use of skin-friendly liquid silicone should ensure comfort throughout the day.
The big event is set for tomorrow, where Xiaomi will also unveil the long-awaited Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, new smart glasses, and possibly more surprises from Lei Jun and team.
