Galaxy S26 Ultra Leak: Thinner Design, 60W Charging, Upgraded Cameras & Stunning Display Improvements
A fresh leak about the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is making waves, and it points to some exciting upgrades across the board. According to trusted tipster UniverseIce, the upcoming S-series flagship will be thinner, lighter, and packed with key improvements to its display, camera system, and charging speed.
Starting with the design, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is reportedly getting slimmer — measuring under 8mm, compared to the S25 Ultra’s 8.2mm. Despite this thinner profile, the phone is said to be slightly taller and wider (around 162.8 x 77.6mm) yet weigh less than the S25 Ultra’s 218 grams. A leaked render showcases a redesigned camera island — a notable departure from the individual cutout design used in previous Ultra models. Three of the four cameras are now housed in this new island layout, giving the S26 Ultra a fresh aesthetic.
In the camera department, Samsung is expected to upgrade the 200MP main sensor with a larger aperture for improved low-light performance. There’s also a new 3x telephoto lens, and enhancements to the 5x periscope module with a wider aperture, promising better zoom photography.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra will reportedly feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED panel with a Color-on-Emitter (CoE) depolarizer layer. This advanced display tech integrates the color filter directly into the emitter, boosting brightness and color accuracy while reducing power consumption. Samsung is also said to be using third-gen anti-reflective glass for even better outdoor visibility.
Charging gets a boost too — the S26 Ultra could offer 60W wired charging, a decent step up from the 45W speeds we’ve seen on recent Ultra models. However, the battery capacity is expected to remain unchanged at 5,000mAh.
If this leak holds true, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be the sleekest, most powerful Ultra device yet.
