Galaxy Z Flip7 FE Official: Samsung's Cheapest Foldable Launches Without US Carrier Support

Samsung has officially launched the long-rumored Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, alongside the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7. Positioned as Samsung's most affordable foldable yet, the Flip7 FE brings the folding phone experience to a lower price point, essentially acting as a slightly tweaked version of the Flip6.
 Most Budget-Friendly Samsung Foldable

The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE 5G comes in two storage variants:

128GB + 8GB RAM – $899.99

256GB + 8GB RAM – $899.99 (early discount or pricing confusion possible)

Despite the mid-range pricing, it retains the iconic clamshell design and core foldable features that Samsung fans love.

No Carrier Support in the US

However, there’s a catch: no US carrier is selling the Flip7 FE. That’s right—while you can pick up the Fold7 and Flip7 from major carriers, the FE model is missing from carrier and retail plan catalogs entirely.
This means the only way to get one in the U.S. is unlocked—either directly from Samsung, Amazon, or Best Buy. You’ll need to pop in your SIM card from the carrier of your choice.

 A Missed Opportunity?

Given that most Americans buy smartphones through carriers, Samsung could be missing out on major sales potential by not making the Flip7 FE available via AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others.

Whether this is due to supply limitations, strategy, or negotiations is unknown, but it’s definitely a strange move for a device that could expand foldables to the mainstream.
