Honor Magic V Flip 2 Tipped to Launch in August With Snapdragon 8 Series Chip and Bigger Battery

Following the Honor Magic V Flip's debut in June last year, fans have been eagerly awaiting news of its successor. According to a new leak out of China, the next-gen Magic V Flip 2 could be officially unveiled in August 2025.
What to Expect from the Honor Magic V Flip 2

The upcoming flip-style foldable will reportedly retain much of its predecessor’s design and display setup:

Main Display: 6.8-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED (foldable)

Cover Display: 4-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED

Camera & Performance

The dual-camera system is said to return, featuring a:

50MP main sensor (1/1.5” size)

Under the hood, the device will feature a Snapdragon 8 series chipset, though not the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite. Exact model details remain unknown.
Battery & Charging

One notable upgrade is the battery:

5,500mAh capacity

66W or 80W wired charging support (TBC)

While it may not be a dramatic overhaul, the updated processor and larger battery could bring meaningful improvements to overall performance and endurance.
