Honor X70 Launching July 15 with Record-Breaking 8,300mAh Battery, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 & Android 15

Honor is set to launch its highly anticipated Honor X70 on July 15, and it’s already making headlines for one huge reason — a massive 8,300mAh battery, the largest ever seen in a mainstream smartphone. This incredible capacity has been officially confirmed by the brand, positioning the X70 as a battery life champion in the mid-range segment.
Ahead of launch, a prototype of the Honor X70 was spotted on Geekbench with the model number MTN-AN00. The listing shows a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM, running on Android 15. It scored 1,064 (single-core) and 2,998 (multi-core) in Geekbench 6.3.0. While early benchmarks aren’t final, they hint at solid performance.

In addition to its industry-leading battery, the Honor X70 is rumored to feature a large 6.79-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, along with an in-display fingerprint scanner for seamless unlocking.
Despite packing such a huge battery, the phone is expected to be impressively slim — measuring less than 8mm thick — and lightweight at under 200g, a rare feat for devices with this much power. Even more impressive is that the X70 will support both 80W wired and 80W wireless charging, allowing for ultra-fast top-ups whether you're plugged in or not.

The Honor X70 is shaping up to be a powerhouse mid-range smartphone for 2025, perfect for users who prioritize long battery life, fast charging, and modern design.

Stay tuned for the full reveal on July 15.
