XPeng G6 and G9 Launch in Europe with Ultra-Fast Charging and Luxury Features

Chinese electric vehicle maker XPeng has officially launched its 2025 G6 and G9 electric SUVs in Europe, signaling a bold move into the competitive European EV market. The launch took place at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, with both models now available for pre-order across eight countries: Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
XPeng G6 and G9 Pricing & Market Position

XPeng’s pricing strategy positions the G6 and G9 directly against established European EV players. The G6, a sleek coupe-style SUV, starts at €47,600 for the RWD variant. The more premium G9 SUV begins at €59,600 for the RWD model, with AWD versions available as well.

Ultra-Fast Charging with 800V Architecture

What truly sets these vehicles apart is XPeng’s 800V electrical architecture combined with 5C ultra-fast charging technology. XPeng claims both SUVs can charge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes. Peak charging speeds are rated at an impressive 525 kW for the G9 and 451 kW for the G6—among the fastest in the industry.

XPeng's Growing Global Presence
XPeng is experiencing explosive international growth, having delivered 18,701 vehicles outside China in H1 2025—a 217% YoY increase. This surge makes XPeng the #1 Chinese EV brand in ten global markets, including Denmark and Norway.

As deliveries are expected to begin later this summer, XPeng’s G6 and G9 are set to challenge the likes of Tesla, Hyundai, and BMW in the premium EV space.
