Xiaomi reveal 5 new Xiaomi smart home IoT products in Malaysia and Philippines

Besides launching the Xiaomi 12 Lite in the Philippines and Malaysia, Xiaomi also took the opportunity to reveal 5 new Xiaomi smart home IoT products in the two Southeast Asian countries as well.

Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact

The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact is the smallest air purifier in the company’s portfolio to date. Certified by TÜV Rheinland, the air purifier can trap 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns through 3-in-1 filtration, offering thorough purification and eliminating common indoor air pollutants effectively.

This smart home gadget also offers real-time air quality monitoring for enhanced purification with intuitive indoor air-quality data, portrayed through a four-color indicator light. In addition, you can adjust your purification settings with the control buttons or remotely via the Mi Home App when you’re away from home.

 

Xiaomi Smart Doorbell 3

The Xiaomi Smart Doorbell 3 is a smart home doorbell equipped with a surveillance camera with 2K resolution and built-in high-powered infrared lights that can view a clear video in the dark. The camera is equipped with a 180-degree ultra-wide viewing angle, allowing for panoramic viewing of the entire front door step area.

Besides the camera, the smart doorbell also has an intercom for visitors, making it ideal for those living in apartments and condominiums. It’s interesting to know there’s even a rechargeable 5200mAh built-in battery that Xiaomi claims that the buyer only needs to recharge the doorbell as infrequent as only 3 times a year.

 

Xiaomi Smart Pet Food Feeder and Smart Pet Fountain

For those with pets at home, Xiaomi has decided to announce its own Smart Pet Food Feeder and Smart Pet Fountain. The Smart Pet Feeder and Smart Pet Fountain is a 24-hour automatic pet feeding and water dispensing machine. Both are also compatible with the Xiaomi Home/Mi Home app when you are away to monitor the food quantity and feeding time, as well as clean the fountain or replace the filter respectively.

Xiaomi has designed the Smart Pet Food Feeder to have a six-grid dispensing structure, flexible soft silicone food stirrer, and dispensing blades which have been tested to over 10,000 dispensing cycles. It can hold approximately 1.8 kg of dry food. Additionally, it also has a triple moisture-proof design ensuring that the food is fresh and safe.

On the other hand, the Smart Pet Fountain uses a circular water circuit to offer oxygenated moving water. With four-stage efficient deep filtering, it ensures healthy, tasty water for pets to drink. This includes fine particles, hair, and residual chlorine including Ca and Mg ions that cause kidney stones.

 

Xiaomi Mi Smart Air Fryer 3.5L

If you don’t have pets, and instead want to feed yourself, don’t worry as Xiaomi has it covered as well with the Xiaomi Mi Smart Air Fryer 3.5L.

With integration with the Mi Home app, you can now remotely control your air fryer with the app, which allows users to schedule a cooked meal up to 24 hours in advance. Included on this fryer is Google Assistant, which can be used to start, pause, or check the remaining cooking time, which is shown on the OLED display to let you check the time and temperature.

It can be set to anywhere between 40°C and 200°C, as well as offers more than 100 different Mi Smart Air Fryer 3.5L recipe ideas for quick meals every day. Besides roasting or frying meat, you can also use it to make yogurt fermentation or pet food dehydration.
