Apple iPhone 17 Could Launch in New Purple or Green Color – Only One Might Make the Cut

Apple is reportedly experimenting with two fresh color options for the standard iPhone 17: Purple and Green. According to a new leak, both shades are being tested internally, but only one is expected to make it to the final production line. Right now, Purple is said to be the more likely choice.

Meanwhile, Apple may also introduce a Sky Blue option for the iPhone 17 Pro, aiming to refresh the premium lineup’s aesthetics.

Beyond colors, the bigger upgrade comes in the display department. Sources suggest that both the iPhone 17 and the new iPhone 17 Air (expected to replace the Plus model) will finally get 120Hz displays. However, they’ll still lack ProMotion, which will remain exclusive to the Pro models.
