Fairphone 6 Leak Reveals Modular Design, New Colors & €549 Price Ahead of June 25 Launch

Fairphone 6 Leak Reveals New Design, Modular Back & June 25 Launch Date

The upcoming Fairphone 6 is almost here, and thanks to WinFuture, we now have our first glimpse at the next-generation sustainable smartphone. Slated for launch on June 25, the device is showcased in a sleek Horizon Black finish—one of three expected colorways alongside Cloud White and Forest Green.
The design sees notable upgrades: a flat-edged frame replaces the previous generation's rounded edges, and a standout yellow button appears on the right side, potentially a new function key or volume slider. Slimmer bezels and a punch-hole selfie camera bring a more modern look to the front.

While the back isn’t fully revealed, reports point to a two-tone modular back panel, divided into upper and lower segments, possibly for easier upgrades and customization. The plastic frame and back remain part of Fairphone’s sustainable ethos, and the company plans to release new interchangeable accessories like a card holder, lanyard, and finger ring for improved usability.

Camera-wise, the Fairphone 6 will house a main wide-angle camera and a secondary ultrawide lens. Staying true to the brand’s philosophy, the phone will offer user-replaceable components, including the display, camera modules, speakers, charging port, and more.

It will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, retailing at around €549 in Europe.
