Galaxy Watch8 Series Fully Revealed in New Renders Ahead of July 9 Launch
Thanks to a fresh batch of official-looking press renders from trusted leaker Evan Blass, we now have the clearest look yet at the entire Galaxy Watch8 lineup.
The images reveal three models: the Galaxy Watch8 in Black, the Galaxy Watch8 Classic in White, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 in Blue. The standout design change this year is the shift to a squircle (square-circle) shape across the range — a bold move that’s likely to divide fans.
The standard Galaxy Watch8 sports a flat sapphire-glass front, dual side buttons on the right, and a speaker on the left.
The Galaxy Watch8 Classic retains its beloved rotating bezel around a 1.5-inch display but now features a three-button layout, similar to the original Ultra. The central crown button is flanked by two standard pushers. It remains to be seen whether the crown will rotate or not.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 features a rugged design with a fixed blue-and-orange bezel, an orange action button in the middle, and a grey titanium body — giving it a more outdoor-focused aesthetic.
All three watches are expected to ship with the Exynos W1000 chip, Wear OS 6, and LTE connectivity. Samsung will officially unveil them alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 at its Unpacked event on July 9.
