Google AI Mode Rolls Out in India: Advanced Search with Gemini 2.5, Image Input & Voice Support

After launching AI Mode in the US back in March, Google is now expanding the feature to India, marking the beginning of its global rollout. This next-gen search tool goes far beyond traditional queries, offering advanced reasoning, multimodal input, and deep contextual answers powered by Gemini 2.5.
What is AI Mode in Google Search?

AI Mode is not just AI Overviews—it's smarter and more interactive. It uses a fan-out technique that breaks your search into subtopics, runs multiple background queries, and then combines the results into a coherent, detailed answer. Each response also includes source links for transparency.
