Oppo K13x Set to Launch in India with Military-Grade Durability and Advanced Protection Features

Oppo is gearing up to launch its next-gen K13x smartphone in India, focusing heavily on durability and protection. As the successor to last year’s K12x, the new K13x has undergone rigorous durability testing and boasts a reinforced internal structure.
The phone adopts a dual-layer frame design: a plastic midframe on the outside and an AM04 aluminum alloy inner structure—the same grade used in high-performance aircraft. According to Oppo, this makes the K13x up to 10% more durable than previous K-series models.

The K13x has passed SGS and MIL-STD certification tests and incorporates a Sponge Biomimetic Shock Absorption System, using elastic, high-energy absorption materials between key internal components and the outer shell.
Real-world drop tests from 1.1m to 1.3m on granite, including screen-down drops from 1.2m, showed no damage or performance issues, proving its toughness.

Other standout features include:

IP65 water and dust resistance

Oppo Crystal Shield glass (also seen in flagship models)

Splash Touch for wet-hand usability

Glove Touch for accurate use with gloves or through waterproof cases

Bundled Anti-Drop Shield case for extra protection

The Oppo K13x will launch in Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach color options and is expected to hit the Indian market very soon.
