Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 vs Apple A19 Pro: Geekbench Scores Leaked Ahead of iPhone 17 Pro Launch

Yesterday, we got a sneak peek at the benchmark performance for Apple's upcoming A19 Pro chip, which will power the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. Today, Digital Chat Station is back with a fresh leak revealing the benchmark scores for Qualcomm’s next flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.
According to Geekbench 6 scores, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is set to achieve impressive results, with a single-core score over 4,000 and a multi-core score over 11,000. For comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (the current flagship) usually scores around 3,100 for single-core and 9,800 for multi-core.

In the benchmark battle, Qualcomm’s Elite 2 will surpass Apple's A19 Pro in multi-core performance, which will peak around 10,000 for the A19 Pro. However, the A19 Pro will still hit 4,000 on single-core, matching the Elite 2.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will improve upon its predecessor by 20-30% in single-core and 10-15% in multi-core performance – a solid upgrade, but not groundbreaking. Both chips are set to be announced in September 2025, alongside the new iPhones, with MediaTek also preparing to unveil its next flagship SoC during the same month.
