The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 has been fully exposed ahead of its official launch, thanks to a complete disassembly by WekiHome and hands-on images and performance tests shared by renowned Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS). Xiaomi itself also joined in the early reveal by posting official press images and confirming key specifications on Weibo.

The upcoming tablet is powered by Xiaomi’s in-house Xring O1 chipset, backed by 16GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of Samsung UFS 4.1 storage. The device will launch in four elegant color options – beige, blue, black, and purple.

It sports a premium metal build, measuring just 5.8mm thick and weighing 576g, making it both slim and portable.

Display & Camera

The tablet features a 12.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and 3,200 x 2,136 resolution, supporting a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. WekiHome recorded brightness levels at 584 nits typical and a peak of 827 nits – more than adequate for bright environments.

Camera-wise, the Pad 7S Pro houses a 50MP f/1.8 rear camera (SKJN1 sensor) and a 32MP f/2.2 front shooter (OV32D sensor), ideal for video calls and content creation.

Battery & Charging

Fueling the tablet is a 10,610mAh battery with support for 120W Xiaomi HyperCharge, capable of extremely fast top-ups. It also offers 7.5W reverse charging, useful for powering up smaller devices in emergencies.

Performance is a standout feature. WekiHome and DCS tested the Pad 7S Pro by running Genshin Impact at max settings for over 7 hours straight while holding a consistent 60fps. This positions the tablet as a powerful contender for gaming and multitasking.

Xiaomi will also offer a floating keyboard accessory, complete with an adjustable stand and glass touchpad, drawing comparisons to Apple’s Magic Keyboard. A stylus will also be available, making the tablet ideal for productivity and creativity on the go.
