vivo Y400 Pro Launches in India with 120Hz AMOLED, Dimensity 7300, and 90W Charging

vivo has officially launched the much-anticipated vivo Y400 Pro, a stylish mid-range smartphone aimed at consumers seeking a perfect blend of design and performance. The device is described by vivo as “designed to meet the evolving demands of style-conscious, performance-driven consumers” and for those “chasing bigger dreams.”

Display & Design

The vivo Y400 Pro features a 6.77-inch Full HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and wet touch support — making it ideal for all weather conditions. The punch-hole display houses a 32MP front camera capable of 4K video recording, while the under-display fingerprint sensor ensures a clean and secure design.

It’s available in Fest Gold, Nebula Purple, and Freestyle White, with the white version showcasing a unique Baroque Pearl texture, meaning every unit has a slightly different finish.

Cameras & Imaging

On the rear, the Y400 Pro offers a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh effects. It supports Sony Multifocal Portraits, allowing users to shoot portraits at 1x, 1.5x, and 2x zoom, providing more flexibility for creative photography.

Performance & Software

Powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 SoC, the vivo Y400 Pro is equipped with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15, though vivo has not yet disclosed its software update policy.

A standout feature is the 5,500mAh battery, which supports blazing-fast 90W charging. vivo claims the bundled adapter can juice the device up to 50% in just 19 minutes, making it one of the fastest-charging phones in its class.
