Xiaomi SU7 Ultra: 1548HP Electric Supercar That Puts Tesla & Audi to Shame

Xiaomi has officially entered the hypercar battlefield with the SU7 Ultra, the most powerful version of its debut electric vehicle lineup. Positioned above the SU7, SU7 Pro, and SU7 Max, the SU7 Ultra doesn’t just raise the bar—it leaves it in the dust.
We caught a distant glimpse of it earlier this year, but now we’ve had the chance to get up close and personal. And yes, it's every bit as insane as it sounds.

Raw Power That Breaks Records

Let’s get straight to the headline numbers:

Power: 1138 kW (1548 hp)

Torque: 1770 Nm (1305 lb-ft)

0–100 km/h: 2.0 seconds

Top speed: 350 km/h (217 mph)
For perspective, that's more power than the Tesla Model S Plaid (1020 hp) and Audi RS e-tron GT Performance (925 hp).

Under the hood (or rather, under the floor), Xiaomi crammed three in-house electric motors—two V8s at the rear (425 kW each) and a V6s at the front (275 kW). This tri-motor setup creates a symphony of brute force.
Battery, Brakes, and Balance

Power comes from a 93.7 kWh CATL Qilin 2.0 800V battery, offering up to 630 km range (CLTC). Of course, that range is theoretical—no one’s driving this monster to save electrons.

At 2655 kg, stopping power is critical. Xiaomi fitted the SU7 Ultra with massive carbon-ceramic brakes (430 mm) that can endure 1300°C. It rolls on 21-inch Pirelli P Zero 5 or Trofeo RS performance tires, depending on your flavor of speed.
Built Like a Racer

The SU7 Ultra is longer, wider, and taller than the Max version, and also 155 kg heavier, yet uses carbon fiber extensively—in the roof, trunk, mirrors, and cabin (steering wheel, doors, console).

Aerodynamics got a major upgrade with a front splitter, vented panels, and a rear wing delivering 2,145 kg of downforce. The Bilstein EVO-R coilover suspension is part of the Racing Package, making this car track-ready right out of the showroom.
Inside the Beast: Luxury Meets Performance

Step into the cabin and you're greeted with up to 5 m² of Italian Alcantara, used on seats, dashboard, door trims, and the steering wheel. Why Alcantara? It's 50% lighter than leather and has no glare under sunlight.

The seats are sporty but comfortable—heated, ventilated, and massaging. The flat-top steering wheel includes a 12 o'clock marker, carbon fiber trim, Alcantara grips, and a boost button.
Two screens dominate the cockpit:

7.1-inch digital cluster

16.1-inch 3K OLED infotainment touchscreen

Below that are physical controls for suspension tuning, wing adjustment, and climate. Xiaomi also included dual 50W wireless charging pads.

Audio is top-tier too—a 25-speaker surround system combined with double-glazed glass offers a cocoon of rich, isolated sound.
Despite its hypercar status, it’s practical with 559 liters of total cargo (454L in the back, 105L in the frunk) and a 60:40 split rear bench.

Should You Buy It?

Currently only available in China, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra starts at CNY 530,000 (~€64,000 / ~$74,000 / £54,000). That’s a shockingly fair price for a hyper-EV that outruns the best from Tesla and Audi.
Xiaomi plans to bring its SU7 lineup globally by 2027—and if this Ultra model is any indication, the rest of the world should be paying attention.
