Google Pixel 10 Launch Event Confirmed for August 20: Pixel 10 Series, Foldable, and Watch 4 Incoming
After weeks of speculation, Google has officially confirmed that its next big hardware launch event will take place on August 20, 2025. This event is expected to unveil the highly anticipated Pixel 10 series, alongside new wearables and accessories.
🔹 What to Expect at the Pixel Event
Google hasn’t addressed the rumors that it initially planned the event for August 13 before shifting to the 20th, but what matters now is that the date is locked in. And just like many previous Pixel launches, leaks have already given us a strong idea of what’s coming.
Here’s what’s expected to debut:
Pixel 10
Pixel 10 Pro
Pixel 10 Pro XL
Pixel 10 Pro Fold
Pixel Watch 4
Possibly, Pixel Buds 2a
📸 Camera Upgrades and Features
The Pixel 10 series will reportedly feature macro photography support on both the telephoto and ultrawide cameras, a major upgrade for close-up photography enthusiasts.
Another big change is the introduction of "Pixelsnap" magnetic accessories – Google’s answer to Apple’s MagSafe. However, unlike the iPhone, the Pixel 10 lineup won’t have magnets built directly into the phones. Instead, users will need to rely on Pixelsnap-compatible cases to take advantage of the magnetic ecosystem.
⚙️ New Tensor G5 Chipset by TSMC
Under the hood, all Pixel 10 models will be powered by the Tensor G5 chipset, marking a huge shift for Google. This will be the first Tensor chip built by TSMC, not Samsung, which could mean improved performance and efficiency compared to previous generations.
🕘 Save the Date: August 20
With the event now officially on the calendar, we’re just weeks away from the next major step in Google’s Pixel journey. Stay tuned for full specs, pricing, and availability on launch day.
