Lava Blaze Dragon Launched in India with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, Android 15 & 5G for ₹9,999
Lava has officially unveiled a new budget 5G smartphone in its Blaze lineup — the Lava Blaze Dragon. Aimed at young users, the phone comes packed with a decent spec sheet and a clean Android experience at a highly affordable price.
Lava Blaze Dragon: Key Specs and Features
Powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, the Lava Blaze Dragon sports 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, offering smooth performance and fast read/write speeds. It boots Android 15 out of the box with zero bloatware, and Lava promises one major Android update and two years of security patches.
On the front is a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 450+ nits. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device, with 18W charging support via USB-C.
In terms of cameras, the phone features a 50MP primary sensor at the back, likely paired with a depth sensor, and an 8MP front-facing selfie camera. Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and 5G support.
Lava Blaze Dragon Price and Availability
The Lava Blaze Dragon is priced at just ₹9,999 (~$115/€100) and will be available in Golden Mist and Midnight Mist color options. It goes on sale in India starting August 1 via Amazon.in.
Meanwhile, Lava is also expected to announce the Blaze AMOLED 2 later this month — more details should emerge next week.
