Motorola Razr+ 2025 Review: Is It Worth the Upgrade Over the Razr 2025?
In our Motorola Razr 2025 video review, we noted its potential but also pointed out shortcomings in chipset performance, battery life, and camera quality. So, is the Motorola Razr+ 2025 a better foldable option?
Well, not by much. The Razr+ 2025 is basically a slightly updated re-release of last year’s Razr+. It brings an IP48 rating (up from IPX8) and runs a newer Android version out of the box. The new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset is a significant improvement over the Dimensity 7400X in the regular Razr 2025, but it still can’t keep up with the true flagship silicon inside the Razr Ultra 2025.
Battery life? Sadly, not much of an upgrade. Despite similar hardware, the Razr+ 2025 performs worse than its predecessor and only slightly better than the standard Razr 2025.
On the camera front, the Razr+ 2025 is the only one in the series with a 50MP 2x telephoto lens, while the other two models settle for ultra-wide shooters. The results are mixed — you’ll see solid detail in some shots, but there are inconsistencies that need fixing.
