Nothing Phone (3) Launches with Android 15, Android 16 Update Coming This Autumn

Nothing officially launched its first true flagship yesterday – the Nothing Phone (3) – promising long-term support with five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. However, despite Android 16 already being available, the Phone (3) comes pre-installed with Nothing OS 3.5, based on Android 15.
At the launch event, Carl Pei, CEO and Founder of Nothing, confirmed that Nothing OS 4.0, built on Android 16, will roll out "later this autumn." The Phone (3) is expected to be the first to receive the update, with older Nothing devices to follow thereafter.

The Nothing Phone (3) will be available for pre-order on July 4, with open sales starting July 15. Noteworthy specs include the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display with 1,260p resolution, a quad 50MP camera setup, and a 5,150 mAh battery (boosted to 5,500 mAh in India).
