RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet Goes Global with 165Hz OLED, Snapdragon 8 Elite, and 80W Fast Charging

RedMagic is taking its powerhouse tablet global! After launching in China as the Tablet 3 Pro, the new RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet is now ready for international markets — and it’s just as much of a compact performance beast.
Built around a sharp 9.06-inch LTPO OLED display with ultra-slim 4.9mm bezels, the Astra delivers visuals at 1504x2400 resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR support, PWM dimming, and up to 1,600 nits peak brightness. Whether you're gaming or binge-watching, this screen is made to impress.

For immersive experiences, the tablet features stereo speakers and dual haptic motors, making it a solid pick for gamers and content lovers alike.
Powering the RedMagic Astra is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite Edition, paired with a liquid metal-based cooling system, large vapor chamber, and even an active cooling fan. RedMagic claims this combo can reduce chip temps by up to 8°C, ensuring peak performance during intense sessions.

Under the hood is a beefy 8,200mAh battery with 80W fast charging, capable of hitting 50% in just 20 minutes. The USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2) supports external displays up to 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 144Hz — making this one of the most versatile Android tablets on the market.
The Astra Gaming Tablet comes in two colorways — Black (12/256GB, 16/512GB, 24GB/1TB) and Silver (12/256GB, 16/512GB) — and officially launches globally on July 16 with a starting price of $499 / €499 / £439.

RedMagic is also offering an Early Bird Deal from July 10–15, dropping the base model to just $469 / €469 / £409. Early buyers will also get a free pair of RedMagic gaming finger sleeves and the 80W charger, which normally isn’t included in the box.
The RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet will be available across North America, Europe, the UK, Asia Pacific, and Gulf Cooperation countries.
