vivo V60 Tipped to Launch in India on August 12 with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, Android 16 & 50MP Quad-Camera Setup

The upcoming vivo V60 has been surrounded by conflicting reports, but a new leak sheds clearer light on its India launch. Contrary to earlier claims suggesting an August 19 release and OriginOS software, this fresh information points to an August 12 debut with Funtouch OS based on Android 16, reaffirming that OriginOS will remain exclusive to the Chinese market for now.
Under the hood, the vivo V60 is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with UFS 2.2 storage (capacity still under wraps). On the display front, expect a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,300 nits peak brightness, ensuring a vivid and smooth visual experience.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the camera setup:

Front: 50MP selfie shooter

Rear: Triple camera module featuring a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP periscope telephoto lens (3x optical zoom), and 8MP ultrawide camera

The device is also tipped to pack a massive 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and an impressive IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance rating.
With a projected price tag between INR 37,000–40,000 (approx. $430–$465 / €365–€395), the vivo V60 is expected to be a rebranded version of the vivo S30 that launched in China earlier this year.

Stay tuned for official confirmation as we approach the rumored launch date!
