Xiaomi YU7 Ultra Leaks: The World's Fastest SUV Is Coming – 1,548HP Triple-Motor Beast Incoming
Just when we thought Xiaomi might take a breather after launching the record-shattering SU7 Ultra and the massively popular YU7 electric SUV, the brand surprises us again. Now, the spotlight shifts to what could become the world’s fastest production SUV – introducing the Xiaomi YU7 Ultra.
While Xiaomi stayed quiet during the YU7 launch regarding an Ultra variant, new leaked photos have answered the question for us. And make no mistake: the YU7 Ultra is not just a performance SUV—it’s an electric supercar in disguise.
🔹 Subtle Design, Extreme Power
Unlike flashy super SUVs, the YU7 Ultra sports a restrained exterior. No oversized wings or aggressive spoilers here—just clean lines, extended wheel arches, and a longer roof spoiler integrated neatly into the design.
What really stands out are the 21-inch wheels, pulled directly from the SU7 Ultra, wrapped around ceramic brakes with massive 6-piston calipers. The wider track hints at serious performance upgrades under the skin.
🔹 Powertrain: SU7 Ultra DNA
Under the hood—or rather, beneath the body—is the same triple-motor powertrain from the SU7 Ultra:
1,548 horsepower
1,770 Nm of torque
93.7 kWh performance battery
Estimated 0–100 km/h in under 2.5 seconds
Top speed: ~300 km/h (limited)
Despite weighing over 2,400 kg, the YU7 Ultra will likely use carbon fiber components to shed as much weight as possible. While it won’t match the SU7 Ultra’s nimbleness, it’ll still smoke most cars on the road—and a few on the track too.
🔹 Track-Ready Family SUV
Everything suggests Xiaomi will take the YU7 Ultra to the Nürburgring to prove its capabilities and chase records. With power figures like these, this EV SUV is gunning for performance dominance in a segment usually reserved for Porsche and Lamborghini.
🔹 Pricing & Availability
Following Xiaomi’s trend with the SU7 lineup, the YU7 Ultra is expected to cost around €80,000, roughly double the YU7 Max version. Considering its hypercar-level performance, that’s a steal.
📅 Expected launch: Late 2025
🚚 Deliveries start: Q2 2026
Xiaomi isn’t just building smartphones anymore—it's building record-breaking EVs for the road and the track.
