XPeng G7 Launches with Advanced AI Tech and Tesla-Beating Price in China
XPeng has officially unveiled its new electric SUV, the G7, a high-tech, spacious, and aggressively priced alternative to the Tesla Model Y. Starting at RMB 195,800 (~€23,320), the G7 undercuts Tesla's pricing in China by nearly 26%, making it a very attractive choice for budget-conscious EV buyers.
The G7 comes in three variants — 602 Max, 702 Max, and 702 Ultra — all offering substantial tech features and impressive range.
AI Driving Powerhouse
The G7 Ultra is powered by XPeng’s in-house Turing chip, delivering a staggering 2,250 TOPS. This enables L3-level smart driving, enhanced by Vision-Language-Action (VLA) and Vision-Language Models (VLM). The system is built to mimic human decision-making in real-time and provides an intelligent, proactive in-car experience.
