“Without Israel, There Would Be No America” – US Ambassador Sparks Debate With Bold Statement
United States Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, has stirred widespread discussion after declaring that America owes its existence to Israel and the Jewish heritage rooted in the Holy Land.
Speaking at the opening of the International Conference on Israeli Heritage held at Herodion National Park in Judea and Samaria, Huckabee emphasized the deep historical and cultural ties between the United States and Israel.
According to the ambassador, his mission goes beyond representing Washington in Israel. He said he also aims to help Americans understand the significance of Israel to their own national identity and history.
Addressing attendees at the event, Huckabee stated, “Without Israel, without the Jewish foundation, there would not be an America.” He further argued that the United States owes much of its heritage and values to the events and traditions that originated in the land of Israel.
“We owe our very existence to what happened in this land,” he added.
His remarks came just hours after President Donald Trump made headlines with comments regarding Israel and Iran, claiming that without American support—and his personal intervention—Israel would not exist today.
The statements from both Huckabee and Trump have ignited fresh debate about the historical, political, and strategic relationship between the United States and Israel.
