FCTA Celebrates 31 Landmark Infrastructure Projects as Abuja Marks 50 Years of Progress

Abuja, Nigeria – The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has celebrated a major milestone with a Special Thank-You Dinner marking the successful completion, commissioning, and flag-off of 31 landmark infrastructure projects across the nation's capital.

The colorful event, held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja, also commemorated the 50th anniversary of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), bringing together top government officials, lawmakers, traditional rulers, diplomats, and other distinguished guests.

The evening served as a celebration of the transformation taking place in Abuja under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with the FCTA highlighting major investments in roads, public facilities, urban renewal, and other critical infrastructure designed to improve the lives of residents and strengthen the capital city's development.

The projects were delivered under the leadership of FCT Minister Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike and Minister of State Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, whose efforts received widespread recognition during the ceremony.

Several senior government officials commended the FCTA for its achievements, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas.
