In a powerful demonstration of unity, peace, and inclusiveness, the leadership of the Igbo community from all 17 Local Government Areas of Plateau State paid a courtesy visit to Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang at the Government House in Jos.

The visit underscored the deep-rooted relationship between the Igbo community and the people of Plateau State while reaffirming a shared commitment to peaceful coexistence, economic growth, and sustainable development.

He explained that although they are not indigenous to Plateau by ancestry, many members of the Igbo community were born, raised, educated, and have lived virtually their entire lives in the state.

According to him, the Igbo community has made significant contributions to Plateau's economy through commerce, entrepreneurship, investment, and job creation.
