Weekly poll: CMF Phone 2 Pro shows potential, but availability concerns remain
But even in places where the CMF phone and its Xiaomi and Samsung rivals overlap, it’s not an easy choice. One in three voters is looking at other models, pointing out issues with the Phone 2 Pro – no OIS on the main camera, short software support window, limited ingress protection and others.
On the plus side, one in four voters is pretty happy with what the phone has to offer. Depending on what you choose to focus on in the conclusion to our review, more people can join the CMF fan club - this is either a phone with a standout design, great battery life and a bright display or it’s a phone with too many downgrades.
CMF and parent company Nothing are trying to get into the lucrative US market, but they shouldn’t forget other parts of the world – especially the ones that are more willing to bet on a new brand instead of defaulting to Apple or Samsung.
