Fairphone 6 Launching June 25 with Repairable Design, OLED Display & Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC
The Fairphone 6 is officially set to launch on June 25, and leaks are already painting a full picture of what to expect. Following renders and spec leaks earlier this month, new high-quality images have surfaced, revealing the device in its three colorways: Forest Green, Cloud White, and Horizon Black.
True to Fairphone's sustainable philosophy, the Fairphone 6 embraces modularity. The lower back cover is removable, allowing for easy battery access—though unlike older phones, a few screws need to be undone to swap it. The battery, cameras, display, and bottom speaker/USB-C module are all user-replaceable, reinforcing the company’s commitment to longevity and repairability.
You can even mix and match colors with optional back covers, giving users more customization freedom.
Key specs include:
6.31-inch P-OLED LTPO display with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate
Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset
8GB RAM + 256GB storage (expandable via microSD)
4,415mAh battery with 33W fast charging
Side-mounted fingerprint scanner (in the power button)
IP55 rating for water and dust resistance
The Fairphone 6 is expected to retail at around €550, offering a solid mid-range package with a strong sustainability edge.
