Maextro S800 Launched: Huawei-JAC EV Brand Plans S600 and SUV Models Next

Maextro, the newly launched electric vehicle (EV) brand co-developed by Huawei and JAC, officially released its first model—the Maextro S800 sedan—on May 30. But the company isn’t slowing down. According to local reports, Maextro is already working on two additional models, with one expected to be the Maextro S600, a more compact version of the flagship S800.
While specific launch dates haven't been confirmed, sources say Maextro has entered a phase of "accelerated development." The brand appears to be targeting the premium sedan segment, traditionally dominated by German luxury automakers, rather than joining the already crowded SUV market. That said, it's highly likely the third model will be an SUV to meet market demand.

Maextro aims to scale production rapidly—3,000 units/month by September, increasing to 4,000 units/month by the end of 2025.
