OnePlus 15 May Skip "13" and Bring Big Changes: 1.5K Display, Flat Design & New Imaging Brand

The successor to the OnePlus 13 might not be the OnePlus 14 after all — rumors suggest the company could jump straight to OnePlus 15, likely to avoid the number "4" due to tetraphobia prevalent in several Asian markets. But the name isn’t the only shake-up happening.
Major Changes Expected in OnePlus 15

Display Downgrade for Cost Reallocation:
The OnePlus 15 is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution, slightly lower than the QHD+ panel on its predecessor. However, ultra-slim bezels on all four sides should still make for a premium look.

New Camera Design & Branding:
The phone will ditch the traditional circular camera island in favor of a new layout. It will feature a 50 MP main sensor, a periscope telephoto lens, and a third unknown camera.
Interestingly, OnePlus is expected to introduce its own imaging brand — potentially Oppo’s Lumo — possibly replacing the current Hasselblad co-branding, or coexisting with it.
No Pro Variant This Time:
Unlike previous years, there will be no OnePlus 15 Pro, according to the latest leaks. The OnePlus 15 will stand alone as the flagship.

Pricing Snapshot (OnePlus 13 for reference):

256GB + 12GB RAM — $1,549.00

512GB + 16GB RAM — $949.99

This signals OnePlus's strategic pivot — focusing budget on camera tech and hardware refinement rather than sheer display resolution.
