Redmi K80 Ultra and K Pad Tablet Tipped to Launch Soon with Dimensity 9400+ and Flagship-Grade Features

Redmi is gearing up to launch the K80 Ultra in China, and it won’t be arriving alone. Joining the flagship smartphone is the all-new Redmi K Pad, a compact Android tablet poised to shake up the segment with high-end specs and a premium design.
According to Redmi China GM Thomas Wang, both the K80 Ultra and K Pad will debut with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, promising top-tier performance. The K Pad, in particular, will feature an advanced high-resolution IPS LCD display with dual IC drivers, bringing flagship-level visuals typically associated with OLED panels.

Xiaomi has also focused on weight optimization, with custom tweaks to the vibration motors, speakers, and screen assembly. The internal design has been restructured for better thermal and performance efficiency, marking a major leap in Android tablet design.
Rumors suggest the K Pad will come with an 8.8-inch 3K+ display, 165Hz refresh rate, and 67W fast charging. Pricing is expected around CNY 4,000 (~$557). Redmi claims this tablet will debut innovative features never seen before on Android slates.

Stay tuned as the launch nears — the Redmi K80 Ultra and K Pad are shaping up to be game-changers.
