Samsung One UI 8 Beta Based on Android 16 Rolling Out: Galaxy S24 & S23 Series Timeline Leaked

Samsung appears to be changing gears with One UI 8, aiming for a faster and more organized rollout compared to the sluggish One UI 7 / Android 15 launch. The company has already kicked off the first One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S25 series as of last week.
But what about those with slightly older flagships?

One UI 8 Beta for Galaxy S24 & S23 – Here’s the Leaked Timeline

According to a fresh leak, Samsung is preparing to bring the One UI 8 beta (Android 16) to the Galaxy S24 lineup in late June or early July, followed by the Galaxy S23 series in early to mid-July.

While a timely beta doesn’t guarantee a fast stable release, it’s still a positive step — especially with Google expected to finalize Android 16 by the end of this month.
One possible reason for this quicker movement? One UI 8 is reportedly a smaller update than its predecessor, One UI 7. So although fewer features may be included, the development and testing cycle could be shorter, potentially leading to faster stable rollouts.

We’ll be watching closely to see if Samsung sticks to these timelines and delivers a smoother update experience this time around.
