Trump Mobile T1 Phone No Longer "Made in America" — Design, Specs Quietly Downgraded

In a twist that won’t shock many, the much-hyped Trump Mobile T1 Phone will not be manufactured in the United States after all. The official website has quietly updated its language, removing the previous claim that the phone was “proudly designed and built in the USA.”

Instead, it now states the phone is “Designed with American values in mind” and has an “American-Proud Design.” While the origin of manufacturing remains vague, the phrasing feels more symbolic than literal — echoing Apple’s old “Designed in California” slogan, despite production happening overseas.
More surprisingly, the hardware specs have changed since its original announcement:

The 6.78-inch AMOLED display has now been listed as 6.25 inches

The RAM capacity has been removed from the official spec sheet

Battery and charging remain the same: 5,000mAh with 20W charging
Price is unchanged at $500

This suggests a likely switch in ODM (Original Design Manufacturer), especially as the launch window has slipped from “August or September” to a vague “later this year.”
