vivo T4 Ultra Launched in India with Dimensity 9300+, Periscope Camera & 1260p OLED Display

vivo is taking its mid-range T-series to the next level with the introduction of the vivo T4 Ultra, a device that earns its "Ultra" title by packing in flagship-tier hardware and camera features never before seen in this segment.

Performance Powered by Dimensity 9300+

At the heart of the T4 Ultra is the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, the same powerhouse chipset found in last year’s flagship vivo X100s Pro. This gives the Ultra a major edge over its siblings – the vivo T4x, powered by the Dimensity 7300, and the vivo T4, running on Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.

Pro-Grade Camera Setup with Telephoto Macro

For photography, the T4 Ultra features a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera (1/1.56", f/1.88, OIS), already a big step up. But the real star is the 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a telephoto macro mode (10x) – a first in this price range, according to vivo. It uses the IMX882 sensor (1/1.95") with OIS and EIS for stabilized video. There’s also an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 32MP selfie shooter, and an Aura Light for better portraits.

Display: Smaller, But Better

The T4 Ultra has the smallest display in the series at 6.67 inches, but it’s the best yet – a quad-curved 1260p+ OLED with 10-bit colors, 120Hz refresh rate, and a jaw-dropping 5,000 nits peak brightness (1,600 nits global). It also includes an optical under-display fingerprint sensor.

Battery & Charging

While the battery is smaller at 5,500mAh, it still supports 90W fast charging, matching the regular T4. This trade-off allows the Ultra to be lighter and thinner at 7.43mm and 192g, with a premium glass back.

Storage & Software

The phone is offered in three configurations:

It uses LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, kept cool by a large 43.62cm² vapor chamber. It runs on FuntouchOS 15 (based on Android 15) with 2 major OS updates and 3 years of security patches promised.
