Meizu 22 Teased with World's Thinnest 1.2mm Bezels, Compact Flagship Launching This Summer

Meizu has officially started teasing its upcoming flagship, the Meizu 22, claiming it will feature the world’s thinnest bezels at just 1.2mm on all four sides. While this claim is hard to verify independently, it’s clear that Meizu is pushing the boundaries of display design with what it calls a “small-screen flagship.”
The Meizu 22 is expected to launch mid-summer, although an exact date hasn’t been confirmed. With a compact 71mm width, the phone is aimed at users who prefer smaller handsets without compromising on premium specs.

Here’s what we know so far about the Meizu 22 specs:

📱 1.2mm ultra-thin bezels on all four sides

🔋 5,500mAh battery (rumored)

⚙️ Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite (or equivalent) SoC

📏 Compact build at 71mm width

While the ultra-thin bezels may only make a minor visual difference compared to slightly thicker ones (say 1.3mm or 1.1mm), Meizu’s design focus could appeal to minimalists and display purists alike. The brand is clearly aiming to make a mark in the competitive flagship space with a refined and compact offering.

Stay tuned for the official unveiling of the Meizu 22 later this summer.
