Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Rumors: Same 5,000mAh Battery, Smaller Size & 200MP Camera Expected
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series isn’t expected until 2026, but leaks are already hinting at key features of the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra — particularly its battery and camera setup.
Last year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra came equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. And according to trusted sources like GalaxyClub and UniverseIce, that capacity isn't changing in the S26 Ultra. However, there's a twist: while the capacity stays the same, Samsung is reportedly increasing the energy density, meaning the new battery could be physically smaller, offering more internal space for other hardware upgrades.
Leaker UniverseIce also teased potential faster charging speeds for the S26 Ultra, although no specifics have been confirmed. For comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra supports charging up to 45W.
As for the camera, early info suggests the Galaxy S26 Ultra will stick with a 200MP primary sensor, much like the S25 Ultra. However, it remains unclear whether Samsung will use the same ISOCELL sensor or introduce a newer, more advanced version.
With the launch still months away, more details are likely to surface soon.
