Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Leak Reveals Blue Shadow Color, Slim Profile, and Key Specs Ahead of July 9 Unpacked Event

Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold7 is set to make its official debut at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, but fresh leaks have already given us a close look at the device. New live images shared on X showcase the Fold7 in a striking Blue Shadow finish, along with some subtle—but important—design refinements.
The rear camera island closely resembles the Fold6, but this time it features metal camera rings and a relocated LED flash placed lower than before. One of the standout visual changes is the ultra-slim side profile. Rumors suggest the Fold7 will measure just 4.2mm when unfolded and 8.9mm when folded, making it Samsung’s thinnest foldable yet. It’s also expected to weigh only 215 grams, a significant 24g reduction from the Fold6.
On the specs side, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is rumored to pack a 8.2-inch main display and a 6.5-inch cover screen with a cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it’s tipped to feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite for Galaxy” chip, paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage. Powering the phone is a 4,400 mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and it will ship with One UI 8 based on Android 16.

With just days to go until the official reveal, this latest leak builds even more excitement for what could be Samsung’s most refined foldable yet.
